krazedav, I'm in Rancho San Diego (near Cuyamaca College), which is ~10-15 minutes from the end of I-125 if you need some welding done.

You need to move closer to Murrieta. As a matter of fact, the house across the street is for sale.

If ya' wanna play with my new plasma cutter - we can cut your Jeep in 1/2.
Thanks for the offer I have not heard anything from Jeff as yet. Just might take you up on that -- just because..but you would have to conduct the weld part.

Not the cut my Jeep in half part though.. If I did that I would have a YJ

steve, did you say you were gonna be installing a 8.8 into MooJr's Jeep tomorrow? I would like to come and give a hand.

I am at the Padre game right now in the sand box bleachers playing with my wifes phone.

Actually I'm going to be at work tomorrow. Jeff, Nate and Jimmy will be at Jeff's tomorrow in the late morning sticking the 8.8 in, they already have the D35 out. Drop a line to jbolty

Just got back from SkyShow, can barely hear . Good game, great fireworks

And they say it couldn't be done.....

The nay sayers...

The negative thinkers.....

But I did it, I sold my stock YJ fender flares for $25 on Craigslist today.

A tank of gas! (almost)

Anyone interested in Kennedy Meadows next weekend???

Heading out to Kennedy/Monache Meadows next weekend. Has anyone run this area before? I'm mainly going up to fly fish and don't know if I should take my Jeep or truck. The truck is 2wd with and electric rear locker.

Anyone wanna go?

I used to camp there sometimes. The clumb up the hill to get there is fun.
Check your brakes before you come back down.

It's mostly fire roads and dirt roads. You should be OK with your truck, depending on where you're going up there.

Sure is a beautiful place to camp.

I'm more interested in the road leading to Monache Meadows. Supposedly it's pretty tight but doable in 2wd. I'm in a newer Tundra and I'm worried it'll be too wide for the trail. I really want to get deeper in there for the Golden's.

I've done the trip to Kennedy Meadows a bunch when dirt biking. Love it up there.

Some of the roads are always washed out. We had to pull a fallen tree off one of them once.
The temps up there should be pretty cool too.
Have fun, take pics!
