The price was $2200 and I offered $2100. For whatever reason she shouted $2000. Still trying to figure that one out...

Hey Premo. The fiancee and I go hit up La Jolla Cove for some snorkeling fairly regularly and will of course be doing our share on the Honeymoon in Mexico in a few short weeks. Be glad to take ya out to the cove sometime for some basics

It was sitting there looking like it was abandoned with cobwebs all over it, my key fit the ignition, and I'm camping (a relative term) at 1000 Trails by Otay Lake this weekend after unexpectedly scoring four days off, so I took it

Bad timing, otherwise I woulda said take it and enjoy

$15 dollars in quarters at the carwash around the corner from your place, it was nasty.

Still planning on the junkyard run Saturday, half-price weekend at Pick-Your-Part

The waters off Catalina aren't too bad. There's a few shipwrecks you can visit down about 150 feet or more.
San Clemente island is a fantastic place to dive. Some great naval ships in relatively shallow water.
La Jolla Cove has the Dropoff, a 600 foot cliff under the water about 1/2 mile out. Tons of marine llife.
Lobster diving at night at Moss Point in Laguna Beach is awesome, and the lobster season is coming up soon.
Yeah must be a problem with the neopreme, my wetsuits all shrank over the years too.

So you dove Moss St. beach for lobsters too? I wish I had a dollar for every time I went down those stairs with my gear and dove off that beach, half the dives were night dives for lobster. We found a cool crevice cut into a huge rock that during the daytime seemed to always be loaded with big (!) lobsters. The bugs were far enough back into that crevice that even when I took my tank off to reach further in I couldn't quite grab their bodies. Naturally at night they were scattered about and I never found any of the big ones I saw during the day. Moss St. is GREAT beach dive location though, my all-time favorite!

Sorry but that's one particular job I just don't want experience in, I pay others to do my regearing. Otherwise I'd be happy to help out and screw them up with you.

Does anyone know of a scrap metal yard close to maybe the Kearny Mesa area where I can pick up some small scraps of 1/8" steel? I normally use the scrap metal yard in Escondido but I'd like to pick some up near where I work today so I won't have to leave the house in Escondido to get it tomorrow. I have to re-work/beef-up my lower rear shock mounts this weekend, they're in bad shape.

industrial metal supply. sorta behind dixieline off convoy. They are a little pricey but have tons of pre-cut pieces.
