Yep. We got it fixed a couple weeks ago. It has a lifter making a bit of noise though.

Anyone see this:

Some of you may have heard that Border Patrol Agent Robert Rosas was killed in the line of duty July 23, 2009 nera Campo, California. Agent Rosas left behind a wife and two children. A memorial ride has been put together and proceeds from the ride will go to the Rosas family.

Here's the link to the newspaper article on the event.
Off-road group organizes fundraiser for Robert Rosas - Imperial Valley Press Online - Sports

The event is open to all types of vehicles; Rhinos, ATVs, motorcycles, OHVs and street legal vehicles. I was told by the organizer that a 2wd vehicle with good clearance should be able to make it. Here is the flyer and email I received from the organizer:

Are all SYE kits generally the same? There are a few different brands out there, similarly priced. Anything in particular I need to look for?

Everyone seems to get the one from advance adapters, that's the one I have and the same one that is sold thru tom woods.

avoid the hack and tap kits.

Yeah, the hack & tap was never a consideration. I am just starting to shop around for one and wondering if there was any major difference between the ones available.

I think they are all made by just a couple of companies. Last year there was some sort of production issue with AA and no one had any kits from just about all the brands.

Thats kinda what I was thinking. There are only 2 different manufacturers with 25 companies sticking their name on the same product.

Grabbing up all the stuff to do the lift and everything at once. Definitely gonna need the SYE. Turns out the later year XJs get driveline vibes with 2" of lift. I have vibes with my stupid BB!

Taking a good look at these tires:
Goodyear Tires | SUV and Truck Tires | Wrangler DuraTrac
