Any meets coming up, or a beginner/stock outing? I'd like to get my jeep dirty but I'm not adventurous enough to go out on my own.
that looks just like mine when i got it...keep an eye on your bill fold. it will slowly diminish! LOL

FYI, if you're lookking for cheap wheels/tires, keep an eye out for WJ parts...they run the same bolt pattern and brake setup

Nate, check the CPS (Crankshaft Position Sensor), top of the bellhousing, driver's side. it
Mine doesn't have one of those. I hope it's something simple like that.
We were pretty beat last night. Nate was probably worse because of the late night before and having to get up at 4:00 am yesterday.
Be sure and post what caused the problem Nate.

On another note.....
I replaced the rear output seal on my t-case, and the new one is leaking. Dang it! Waste of $10 and time.

It controls the timing of the fuel injectors. A carb'ed motor won't have it. To do the FI converson on the 258 they sell a special balancer and CPS that go on the front of the crank in place of the one there. Either that or get a new trans with the CPS mount....

The howell kit wires in a speed sensor to the speedo gear to serve the same purpose. If you do a Mopar kit you have to replace the harmonic balancer.

Look's like I'm finished with your tranny jack Jason. It really worked well.
Thanks again for letting us use it.
I'll bring it back to you by the end of the week.

Glad it worked out for you. No rush on bringing it back. If you have a planned trip down here that is farther down the line that works too.

I haven't heard either. I'm really curious what it was.

Half price this weekend, http://www.pickyourpart.com/

I really don't need any more junk but it's been 2-3 months since the last trip and there should be all new cars there by now.

Any of the YJ folks here interested in doing the CJ7 front clip mod? I've got all the parts, just need a rig! Get authentic, round Jeep headlights!
