If I pick up a pair of 4.11 axles you are welcome to the one I have now. Non-disco w/3.53 gears.

We grabbed the fenders of the TJ (black) for Jimmy. I believe the TJ was a 2002. We left both 8.8 axles which was somewhat painful seeing as how they were next to impossible to find not long ago. Jeff found his York compressor for OBA. I came out a with a whole lot of nothing.

what would it take to swap the 8.8 in? getting rid of the d35 doesnt sound like a bad idea.

I have no direct experience but swapping into a TJ would bea fair amount of work. A YJ has no concerns with control arms and spring buckets.

Search around a little and see if there is a swap kit, maybe start with MORE or ruffstuff

anything can be done with enough welding rod.

if you have the interest and want to go with 4.10 gears grab when the come available.

I headed out to the San Bernardino Pick a part and they had four Yj's that were pretty complete two 95's a 92 and a 93 all 4cyl one had a 4" lift. I grabbed a set of tinted soft top windows a family bar, seatbelts and all the soft top hardware and it all came out to just over a hundred bucks and it was not half off there. I think I got a pretty good deal.

Looking to go find a driver side seat for my YJ (mabe both sides) Just curious as to how the whole JY thing works. Ill assume i need to bring my wrench bag for removal, is that about it? Search till you find what your looking for, then yank it and pay for it on the way out?

Also, is Ecology a good one to go, or somewhere else?

The two locally are ecology and pick your part. Both are you-pull-it yards, pay $2 to get in and drag your junk up tp the cashier. They both have 1/2 days once in a while and both are always 1/2 price if it's raining when you go.

ecology has several yards; mixed, foriegn only and domestic only.

1/2 price April 2,3 & 4

There are also about 42,763 other junkyards around brown field, where they pull the parts for you. You pay more but they will usually tell you if they have something over the phone and some offer a warranty. Personally I like the scavenger hunt.

Seats are cheap to buy but hard to find good ones, especially this time of year because they get rained on if the window is open. Or, someone throws engine parts on the seat. It took me a few trips to find a pair that matched and that was after the dumbbell light went on and I realized I did not need to get both from the same exact car.

Anybody going to the half price day?
I'm thinking to go find me some new seats that weekend if we don't go camping.
