Muffler Install Shop?

Anyone know of a shop in the San Diego vicinity, be it large or a small mom and pop shop, that will install a muffler for a reasonable price? I will need the original pipe welded back on. Thinking of purchasing a super 40 so I might be interested in buying it thru the shop instead of purchasing separately. Cheers!

I got my flowmaster 40 from super shops in el cajon for like 60 bucks and there is a shop that they refer you to and they will charge like $40 to put it on. Call them to make sure they are still doing it.

No it's worth it. Most shops charge almost that much for the muffler alone.

Thats right next to my work if ya see a built white TJ in the parking lot, come and get a burger! Oh, and I'm not talking about the golden arches.

curious what they did for you and what is cost ya. I will be needing to get my exhaust modified for my long arm kit soon. I already have a turn down exhaust so this mod would be very easy for a shop to do.

Hey guys, thanks for the info. I'll give that shop a call... sounds like a good deal for sure. Thanks for providing the contact info. That price would be far less than anything I've found so far. Any opinions on which flowmaster to go with? I noticed they have a couple different versions of the 40... original, super, etc?

Primo, haven't talked to you in a bit. How are you man?! Yeah, I'm back in SD... just renting a place in La Jolla for a short bit awaiting an apt in OB. Actually moving back in the same complex I was at before on the 15th of this month. Are you still right on the cliffs? Surfing any? Can't wait to get back in the water! My jeepin' is down to zero due to money... TJ is running well tho. Thanks again for all the help with it. We'll have to get together soon! Hope things have been going well.

JBolty, thanks for the info as well. I'll be over in OB not too far from you and all the craziness of PB! ha.

Miguel, I'll stop by if I end up over that way. For sure, I'll let you know about the pricing.

where do you work?

Most recently I had everything from the cat back replaced. As I recall it was maybe $100 out the door and only took about 20 minutes for new OEM muffler, hangers and pipe. Last year I smashed that muffler and have a flowmaster 40 now.

well I sure as hell wasn't talking about McDonalds I work over at In-N-Out. Only weekends right now though since Im in school.

I might stop by that shop to see how much it would be to have my exhaust fixed. It should be a very simple job.
