All packed, Jeep hooked up, I'm ready. Just waiting for the kids to get out of school. They wanted me to take them out early. No chance. Suffer!

Richie's Jeep is on the trailer and hooked to his truck.

It's gunna' be a long drive for us. Save us a spot next to the jacuzzi.

I am here. No, not there, here. Yes, here X

Whatever. Anyway...

It is HOT 88 degrees, I'm parked where Wheeler d turns into Imler, if you see the SD4Wheelers/Park info board I'm between it and the big hill. The usual flags are up, the blue and yellow flashy lights will be on after dark, easy to find

Getting really crowded, when I drove in there were two campers a distance away and in the last couple of hours two or three large groups have appeared. Still not bad. The Blue Angels are overhead Defending Our Freedom, the sun it out, not a cloud in the sky and there's a big rocky, sandy hill mocking me, I must conquer it

or drink

Either way, see y'all when ya get out here

And now: Let The Repairs Begin

Got back in the nick of time, before the rain started. Great time. Uploading pix to photobucket now.

I think this sums up how everyone feels after this weekend.

I had so much fun. I got wenched up a hill, and strapped off a dune, not to mention a few white knuckle moments. Cleaned out the inside of the Jeep yesterday, took only an hour. Thanks everyone for inviting me.

The only major breakage

This was more precarious than it looks from here.

We had a blast, I haven't had a weekend like that in a long time and the trailer even made it home without blowing out another tire. We finally pulled into our driveway at 8:45 last night parked showered and fell to sleep. Today is gonna be a long day of cleaning and putting things back together.

WHAT A GREAT TRIP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We had a blast and were honored to be able to wheel with such awesome people.
We made a side trip out through Canyon Sin Nombre, down Diablo Drop Off and out through Split Mt. Got to see some new piles of rock thanks to the quakes. We stopped at Dudleys for lunch and found out the bottom of our 30 year old trailer decided it didnt want to haul anything any more and dropped the floor out. Fortunatly we didnt loose anything but the full 5 gallon gas can was only about 2 inches off the ground. I guess its time to replace the floor.
All in all it was an great trip and cant wait to do it again! I'll post the pics I have tonight.
