I am not exactly new to the forum as I have been here for a couple of yours now, but I have never come over to the local section. My name is Nathan and I own a 05 WK that I have been building for the past couple of years. It is also my family vehicle so as much as I love wheeling it, I have to keep it in a somewhat presentable condition or the wife will kill me! Because we all know that if the wife isnít happy, then no one is!!! The problem is that I donít know many guys down here that hit the trail regularly. I would like to get out at least once a month for some fresh air. Well, as fresh as a dusty dirt trail can be! I am not looking to do any extreme rock crawling or deep mudding (not that I have to worry about the later too much down here ) but I do enjoy more than the moderate trails. Just to give you an idea of what I enjoy wheeling. I have recently ventured up to the Miller Jeep Trail and a few months back out to Corral Canyon (I think I did Gunslinger).
So I am looking forward to getting to know you guys and joining in on any trail rides coming up in the future!
Ok so it is an organized function that you have to pay for?
I am more interested in just small group runs. Not so much of the big organized events.
Thanks for the info though!
It is an organized event, sorta
ODF is a fundraiser for paralyzed veterans. They run a raffle, organize a few runs, sell some t-shirts and other paraphernalia and so on. We go out to support the cause, fly the flag, catch up with friends, hit the raffle and torment the host, drink to excess and somewhere in there we take off on our own run somewhere and avoid the chaos of the "organized" runs. Or just stay at camp and eat and drink
i also, am new to the area. i dont know anyone out here and i need to get my jeep offroad again. me and her are both having withdrawls..
She lets me ride her whenever i want. I buy her shiny things all the time. Give her a kiss and hug every morning and night. Think about her all day and dream about her at night. We have the perfect relationship. Me and my jeep that is.
The way I see it, a Jeep is like sex-when it's good it's terrific, and when it's bad it's still pretty good!
