I need an Englishman ...

... or Englishwoman.

There is a bar in Poway that has a trivia night on wednesdays and the last couple of weeks I have gone with a small group and have done pretty well.

BUT, it's an english place so one of the categories is Great Britain and we always fail at that one. So, we need a ringer to help answer questions.

If you are familiar with GB, like beer, chicken wings, trivia, are near enough to Poway and are free on wednesday from about 6:30 til 9:30 let me know.

I'm not English, but I did live there for about a year and a half. And I married an English woman, though it's not something I would recommend.

So I'm no ringer, but I do know the difference between a toad in the 'ole and a rub a dub dub.

WHERE IS THIS MAGICAL BEER AND TRIVIA PLACE YOU SPEAK OF? I love trivia of all kinds, this sounds like an awesome time. You may have some competition next go-around. If you're going tomorrow and I can make it I'll bring your shock brackets, too.

Nobody? I thought we would at least have one person who had knowledge of Great Britian. Looks like I'm going to have to hit wikipedia today so we can get a win tonight.

Thats okay. We are usually only a point or two off even after getting 11 of 12 of the Great Britain questions wrong. We can just pick it up in other areas.

maybe I will have my friends compete with you. how will it be when they have all of the british questions correct, and the americans pick up the slack with the rest?
