HAM Radio Class

I have been wanting to get licensed for a while but have never gotten around to it.

There is a full day class and test at the end of this month.


San Diego HAM Classes (http://www.sandiegohamclasses.com/ ) is putting on a Technician Class and Exam on Saturday 26 January 2013.

Glad to see you are going to get your ticket soon..... It's only a ONE DAY CLASS. and about the only way to fail the test is to sleep through the class.

I smoked a HAM for Christmas. Was I supposed to have a license? What about BACON?

I would love to go!! I have been studying off & on for the past few months. The only issue is that I have to play Navy that weekend

If you've been studying, don't worry about the class then. The test is pretty simple. I studied for a week and aced it when I took it. They give the test every Saturday in San Diego. They just move around the county each Saturday.

I got my ticket back in May. I took the Tech/Gen/Extra exams all at the same time and passed the Tech and Gen ones, Failed the Extra with flying colors. I think I'll study up for that one and take it after awhile. I took the study exams on QRZ.com,they really helped and were free to use. Good Luck!

Got busy and completely forgot about this class. I'll find out when the next one is scheduled.

I passed!!!

Thanks to Jeff's posting this up here, I took and passed my General test this past Saturday. I am now KF7 ITJ/AG.

I think I had better study a LOT more.... 12 questions and I only got 2 correct.... not good

Some day I will get my General though
