I blame driver.

dude, read all the posts we've made. There are plenty of places to go that are within 1-5 hrs drive. I listed off three myself. Not many deep water crossings down here. up north there are some.

you could go to azusa canyon and have 125ft deep water crossings if you want.. The only water crossings in SD are when it rains and you gotta jump over a pothole in the street. God bless sd tax dollars.

OP, you're new here so you probably think we're kidding when we say there's no water and no trees but it's true. In an average year we get a total of maybe 4-5 inches of rain. There are a couple of local reservoirs that catch a little of it and the rest of the water that comes out of your faucet comes all the way from the Colorado River.

I just looked it up. The average rainfall for San Diego for May is .12", that's 12/100 of an inch.

Yeah... What that guy said!

So you're just gonna have to reconstruct that swamp buggy, marsh mashing, mud running beast of yours and make it a slow crawling, rock grabbing monster!.. We also have great fishing, nightlife, taco's, eye candy. Hell we even have more beer.....

Uh OH. Now you've gone and done it. Premo will drown you with his Coor's Light, and I'm afraid of some of the pictures that are going to end up on this thread. Don't take anything Kevin (Brokenujoint) says to you his eye's are brown.

Afton Canyon water crossing - although there are no trees, so if you don't like the desert it's a long way to go for a pretty tame water crossing...

You mean freedom light?!? Pacific beach (aka PB) for eye candy. Plenty of beer over there. SD has a lot if little sub cultures so picking where you go depends on your scene. PBfor sure on the eye candy though haha
