Fabrication shop

Im looking for somewhere near San Diego or Camp Pendleton that would be able to build me box for the back of my jeep to add some storage for my tools and gear. I've been looking around online and haven't been able to find anything, so I was wondering if anyone here know of some place.

Thanks

There is a sheet metal fab shop over on Balboa avenue by ORW. Never actually been in but I've seen the place many a time driving by.

I have a wood one as well, with a full width drawer.

I like how that looks. Does it come out easily if for some reason you need to put the back seat back in?

I would love to make my own but I live in an apartment and don't have the tools for it, and I'm sure I would get some complaints while cutting up the wood.

would be very easy to make something removable. another option is a low profile drawer with the back seat mounted on top.

how much stuff do you want to carry? Do you need the security of metal?

finding a place to cut and drill some plywood is easy enough

It only bolts to the factory seat bracket locations . So yes... Cost me about 50.00 in materials and took about 2 casual days of IPA and sunshine.

I'm not really looking to carry too much. Mainly tools, first aid kit, and anything else I may need to leave in the jeep that is valuable that won't fit in the glovebox or center console. I really don't have a need for it to be metal honestly its just an option I was looking at. Do you know of a place I could go to cut ad drill some plywood?

That was my other option, and plus it would give me an excuse to get another dog.
