Bryan, Jacob, ya good times there at the end...loose tail light and all! I just wouldn't have felt good about going home unless I went up some trails that a Toyota Corolla couldn't! That was some good stuff, jamming down Bedford was even fun.

ON the way down bedford there were some tracks that went over the side that looked pretty fresh. I stopped to check it out, but a little further down the road you could see where it was winched out. Somebody had a bad day.

Getting stuck and winched out isn't that bad.
Driving over a cliff and getting winched out is.
It was a sharp curve, and a good 100 ft drop off to some trees below, and a deep canyon beyond. The trees stopped the vehicle.
That's a bad day. Surviving it is a so so day.

My pleasure. I carry all the stuff I do just for cases like yours! You never know when an odd nut or bolt will save someones day! I guess I'm gonna have to stick a tube of Locktite in the case too now....

Ya, the Avalanche performed flawlessly! We had a great time.
Thanks for the invite.

Lessons learned?
Carry a spare alternator.
Carry tools.
Carry spare bolts.

May I also suggest:
Carry spare belts.
"I'm an Idiot" sticker to apply to Geo Trackers!
