Here's a couple "spy pics"

This is how I welded a couple of pieces together to compensate for the downward "dip" that the TJ tub has and still clear the body mounts:

The rockers are made from 3/16" plate steel that I had bent in a 60T press break & then I traced out the fender flare pattern & trimmed the ends with my plasma cutter. I used my drill press to drill the 5 mounting holes. And yep, there's sandwich plate on the inside of the tub as well.

The tubes are made from 1.5" x .120" wall HREW which I had bent to 45* then I did a compound cut so that the tubes are angled upwards ~45*. Then I added two additional supports at 15" intervals.

Primer & paint is provided via Rustoleum. They fit like a glove.

Dont let them be one of a kind! Those sliders look awesome!

Hey Joe, are you working now? anyway, when you have time I will be ready for a pair. Got some funds burning a hole in my pocket.

Got it off ebay for $65. Do a search for "TJ Brush Guard", they should come up.

Hey Kiwi, those rockers are specific to guys who have a TJ & wish to protect the tub where it hangs below the rocker (it dips downward ~1").

On a YJ, I can make 'em completely flat on the bottoms & they would tuck under ~6" & go up the sides ~6" (according to customer wishes).

I'd need you to stop-by with your YJ so I could take some measurements before I build you a set. I have all the material on-hand, so no delays there. I would need a couple days lead-time since I don't like to run my power tools in the evenings.

BTW: Yep, I'm back to work in Ramona: Trailers, utility trailers, travel trailers, motorcycle trailers San Diego

I'm doing sales right now, but I also take orders for "custom trailers" which is usually a PITA.

The typical cookie cutter trailers aren't the problem. Its when I spend several hours figuring out a floor plan that works & doing the number crunching....then the customer wants to shop you or go elsewhere for a few bucks savings (and almost always a cheaper, less built trailer or a junk mfg).

Oh the joys of sales Everyone wants to save a buck. I guess you still have your eyes and ears open.

Yep, if a job that pays close to what I'm use to making pops-up........

I'm learning quickly NOT to provide customers with detailed plans. That way, the next guy has to work from scratch like I had to.
