Super swampers BAD versus stock Goodyears? Chances are they would not be bad at all. Stock GSAs will probably get you through most everything you need. A few pages back Rick has pictures of his sisters(?) stock Jeep ,JK I think, out on all the same trails.

Isn't the tread about the same as an MTR? If so, those are pretty grabby.

A/T is ok, but I noticed a huge difference after going to MTR tread.

Tread difference is in the wider voids on the shoulder otherwise similar design to the MTR...swampers and MTRs will also create more noise when driving down the highway

OK, so seeing as we're planning on a night run, and my upgraded HID headlights and fog lights offer such poor lighting and the fog lights leave such an open void on the front bumper....... I decided to order up some 4" HID lights from Kragen.

At least getting up at 5:00 Sunday morning to work a car show came to some good seeing as the boss is paying for them!

My sister's Jeep is an '05 TJ Unlimited. No lift no lockers on Kelly Springfield 29 inch street tires. She had to get some momentum up for Diablo Dropoff, but other than that she did fine.

I'm not going in front of you on the night run.
And what car show?

Everybody please check the first post once in a while.
Keep me updated on what you are bringing for the breakfast and pot luck, as well as what you are bringing to stay in at the campground, tent, motorhome, sleeping in your Jeep etc...
Also let me know if you change your user name!

Rik - I'll be camping with y'all at Butterfield if you've got room. I'll kick in two packs of hot dogs and buns for dinner.

I'm confused....
I already have you down. Didn't you have a different user name before?

I called and made my reservation for full hookups, with tax for both nights (14 and 15th) it came to $54.
The CODE WORD IS "Rotorhead". Sorry, I had to come up with something fast and I thought "A bunch of grungy Jeepers" sounded a bit too long.

The phone number is 760.765.1463 so you don't have to look it up.
I'll update the first post with this info.

The Bug-In. My company is a sponsor so I had to go set up and run a booth all day.

Because I want to see the reflective quality of my Hellas in rour rear view mirror!

Oh, bug stuff. Forgot you were doing that.

Are you taking your toybox? Make your reservation soon. Nothing like a good commitment.

I still have to make sure I have someone to drive the Jeep. I can't tow the trailer with the Jeep, and the Jeep HAS to go! I'm fine with tenting but hopefully I'll be able to take the Weekend Warrior as well. I'm gonna make the reservation by Wednesday regardless.

Sam, find a driver. A Jeep is necessary, and I don't think your tow vehicle will make The Squeeze. (unless you get a good running start)
