I'm sorry Manny. I'm old and the Alzheimer's is setting in early.
I will definately pay up on the beer, IF I remember!

OK Sam, I'll put you down for a space with hookups, and I'm assuming your brother and friends are staying with you.
And no more broken anything.

No worries, if I bring the trailer I'm self sufficient. I wonder how many spaces you get per site. If I do bring the trailer, I will have the truck, trailer and 3 Jeeps....

As for breaking, well hopefully not! Bones especially. Jeeps or parts there of.... I hope not!

It's a big place. I'm sure there's plenty of parking.

I have updated the first post. If you are listed there and haven't posted what you will need as far as a site, let me know ASAP. I want to give the campground some kind of heads up.

Should be a fun weekend. A great group of folks is forming already.

I have to arrange for Sunday off, or get a cell connection so I can call in sick.

I don't need hook ups, but I'll use 'em if I got 'em

Cool. I'll add you to the list then.

Sounds fun. Checking with the wife before i can commit. I can't do that resort style thing so i'll probably end up camping some place off a trail. No water, electricity, toilet, etc and i'm a happy guy!

Blair Valley is the place for you, right up the road.

I just got off the phone with the lady at Butterfield.
She's going to give us a group circle, and a group rate.
So here's the new rates:
Full hookups site $25
Tenters $15

There is a big fire pit in the middle of the circle.
They have no live entertainment that weekend, but.....
For those of you who are interested, they have Yoga every morning and massage therapists available all day. They have an art class with live model (I didn't ask) for you artsy types.
The pools are heated 'til June, the jaccuzzis are large, the store has plenty of beer.

I'm going to make my reservation on Monday, which will hold the circle area for us. Then others can call to reserve their spots with the code word she will give to reference our group.

I can bring plenty of firewood, but if you can bring some too that would be great.

I'm not sure if you guys want to do a community breakfast again like we did at Superstition, but that's fine with us.
Maybe do a pot luck dinner for Saturday night after the trail, and Jeff can do a burkey in his smoker. I'll chip in for that.

Chime in with your ideas.

MMmmmm...... Morgan and root beers with our s'mores.

EDIT: Updated first post reflecting new rates.

I'll be tenting. I'll call in once the secret word is posted. Thanks for setting this up Rik.

I'm down for pot luck and community breakfast. Since I'll be tight on space I can't bring a grill but I'll bring a few dozen eggs for breakfast and a couple packs of dogs and buns for dinner if somebody's got a grill to cook on...

Oh yeah, forgot to tell you, I won't make the run Saturday.

I hope it's warm that day, always embarrassing when the "artists" start yapping; Oh, it must be cold today...

Yeah, whatever

I'll probably come out and camp at Blair Valley. In all honest, I am kinda bored of Pinion Mountain and the associated trail. Mostly its the 45 mins of wash board to get off the thing after the good stuff. I might go poking around some other areas while you all are on the run.

Thanks. It looks like we will be there on Friday night, and head home Sat night after doing some offroading. Any of the rough camper types are welcome to join us. Now i gotta get my OBA system installed before then! Yesterday i ordered 2 mv50s, 2.5gal viar tank, fittings, pressure solenoid, 8g wire, etc. With 2 mv50s I'll be airing up in no time!
