I like this idea. Then I don't have to bum a ride.

So I'm guessing this shootout hasn't gone down yet.... I'll keep an eye on it. Depending on the day I might be able to meet up with you guys. No Jeep anymore, but I have since picked up a few more firearms. I got to have something to play with and the Jeep was my last big boy toy! I usually go out shooting behind Vail Lake. A buddy of mine has a few plots out there and we shoot everything from 22s to 50cal to clays. It's a blast but I miss the Jeepin crowd!

I'm here because
my little girl
doesn't need her dad
on two wheels anymore!
.
Camoflauge, camoflauge, I disappear when I pull out of my garage!

PM me for LED light bars and HID off road lights

I'll keep my eye on this thread for updates.
Where's a good place to go to shoot a long range gun.

Thanks Jason.
I've heard of that place but have not been there yet.
I was mistaken about the M1 Garand. It's a Remington 03A3.
I found the original receipt from when my Dad bought it from the US Armory in 1958 for $15.
When out to Painted Gourge near plaster city a couple weeks ago and popped off about 200 rounds in a 9mm hand gun. The plan is to go this Saturday again with my neighbor and the wives.

Shooting range is closer but the trip out of town is part of the fun.

Went out near plaster city and shot the 30.06 Saturday.
This is what it did to a 1/4" steel plate at about 100 yards.
The orange side is going in. The side with my finger is the exit side.

I was using my son's F250 and got it stuck in the sand.

You see Plaster City in the back ground.
I had to walk to PC and found a guy with a Yellow Rubicon
He pulled me out.
His name is Shaune.
He lives in Clairemont.
He works for the SD School District.
So if anybody knows him you'll have some fodder to yak about
Thanks again Shaune

Was my Dad's 03-A3.
The scope was something he had put on.
After I shot it
I tore it down to give it a good cleaning and to see how it all fits together.
