Cable TV???

Got a question for SD CO residents. We currently subscribe to Cox for cable TV. Thinking about switching to a dish. Direct TV or Dish Network. Anyone here have a dish for TV? Pro's and Con's vs Cable??

I had directv for a few years and liked it a lot, thinking about going back. I switched to cable because at the time directv required to be plugged into a phone line, which I wanted to get rid of.

Have not looked in a while but the DTV was a little cheaper for more channels.

Make sure you have a clear view south for a good signal.

We switched from Time Warner to Dish Network and have been very happy. Less service issues, better DVR equipment, and it's cheaper. You won't get Channel 4 though, so if your a Padres fan I'd stay with Cox.

Same as me. I think they charge a lot more for cable internet if you don't have a package. We need some research into cost for DLS v cable. I had dsl before and was happy with the speed but I wanted to ditch to $25 phone bill since I was not using the landline for anything but the DTV at that time

We use DSL through AT&T for internet, runs about $25 per month. The cable internet without tv service runs $50-$60 I think.

If you can get ATT's Uverse, I'd go that route. Extremely fast internet and great cable.

Unless you want to order a UFC fight, then they will screw it up and all your friends will have to sit around 'til 10PM waiting for the replay...

...or so I've heard.
