Sebastion I see you lurking are you gonna go? Sam are you camping?

Also here is an updated list of people going. The campsite is Pine Knot camp ground for the nights of the 10th and 11th. I will call mine in first thing in the morning and set it up as camp JF so that we can stay in a group. Let me know if anyone has already reserved.Big Bear Campgrounds and Picnic Areas

Chris, Krista and no dogs this time (Camping Site 36) 33's some lift locked front and D35
Rik, Betsy and two tax deductions (Camping Site 36) 33's some lift 8.8, D30 open diff
Richie, wife and kid (Don't know if camping or Motel) 33's lotsa lift D30, D35 open diff
Jeepnkal and Girlfriend (Camping) 32's 2" lift open diff
KraZeDav with Wife(Motel 6) 33's lifted and locked
NateWithoutBeer, wife and dogs (Camping Site 28) 31's 4" lift, front locker D35 rear
JBolty (Camping or motel doesn't care) 33's or 35' and a bunch of other stuff
Gomez, wife and dog (Camping Site 28)
smcalpac (Camping) 31's 2" lift open diff's
Smartshot and girlfriend (Don't know if camping or motel) 33's 2" lift 8.8 LSD
Motorep (Don't know if camping, motel or just for the day) 35's locked
Sebastian22 (Camping Site 37) 35's locked and more fun stuff then most of us.

Here is the number to the reservation desk. 1-877-444-6777 and we are in site 36 for September 10th and 11th leaving on the 12th, they wouldn't take a name for our group so make sure you mention you are with the group in site 36. It cost me 54 bucks but you can have up to 8 people in your site so I would suggest buddying up with someone else to save a few bucks. Post up your spot when you reserve and I will try and get a map up. And they are pet friendly.

No Worries, you how these things go 10 or 20 people say they are going and about half back out for one reason or another, so far we have 4 jeeps who have already paid for their campsite so I would assume they are not backing out. I think it will be a great time.

No Jimmy? No Steve? What's going on here?

The wife and I and presumably NateSucksAndNeverHasBeer might not make it to the Friday dinner depending on the time we arrive but we will put in for the Saturday potluck, just have to figure out what to bring. Can't wait to share a few with ya'll.

I'll be running stock with 31's.

Stock with 31's could probably do most all the trails up there. Let me know what you want to bring for Saturday a few pounds of boneless chicken breast would be cool or a side or something heck I dunno.

There has been alot of BS going on with me over the last couple weeks - but I'm scheduled to go back to work this Monday (working evening shifts ).

Anyway....if at all possible I will join you guys. I'll let you know as soon as I can firm-up a work schedule.

On another note, I could be moving to the east coast (DC area) if all goes as planned.

Camping in a Tent and sleeping on the ground? WOW
Haven't done that in a loooong time.
Sounds like fun but My wife is not to fond of sleeping on the ground so.
When you guys camp do you haul everything in your Jeep, come in multiable vehicals, tow a trailer, or tow your Jeep?
I have a functional 1975 RV that can tow my Jeep. But it's not always practical or economical use.
Been thinking about getting a small trailer to haul camp equip.

You can get queen sized self inflatable mattresses at walmart or sports chalet really cheap. No reason to sleep on the ground.
Climbing that mountain in a motorhome will eat a ton of gas.
I am going to be towing a flatbed trailer with my Jeep on it with my Avalanche in case somebody breaks something (hopefully not me) and I will have my tow bar just in case. I would rather bring my camper but it would take a couple hundred bux in gas just for that.
You will be amazed how much stuff you can put into the back of your Jeep.
I am also hauling up a bunch of firewood on my trailer.

BTW: all you guys "sharing a spot" kinda' thing... No brokeback mountain stuff!

We haven't decided what food yet. Will let you know.

My Jeep: 2.5" lift on 33's 8.8 and D30 both open if my Aussie doesn't make it back in time. If my Obama check gets here before then it will have dual ARB's.
