I'm in, tenting is fine by me as long as there is somewhere to answer nature's call.

2" spacers on 31's, otherwise stock.

Food: Bring your own lunch and snacks for the trail but for dinners potlucks have worked well in the past so post up something you may want to bring. For Breakfast we can do potluck or bring your own just let me know which way you want to go. I will probably be bringing a full sized propane BBQ to the campsite.

Keep an eye on the first post for all updates of people going and food.

I will be bringing several pounds of BBQ pork for Saturday dinner.

Also here is an updated list of people going. The campsite is Pine Knot camp ground for the nights of the 10th and 11th. I will call mine in first thing in the morning and set it up as camp JF so that we can stay in a group. Let me know if anyone has already reserved.Big Bear Campgrounds and Picnic Areas

When should we make our reservations for Pineknot? I hate to wait too long and they not have enough room for all of us. Oh and just tell me what kind of food or drink to bring and I will, im not very creative so dont trust me to pick it myself.

I will set it up first thing in the morning and post to let you know but it will be under Camp JF so that we can all stick together.

I should have snagged this sign from our last wheeling camping trip.

OK I made my reservation. Here is the number to the reservation desk. 1-877-444-6777 and we are in site 36 for September 10th and 11th leaving on the 12th, they wouldn't take a name for our group so make sure you mention you are with the group in site 36. It cost me 54 bucks but you can have up to 8 people in your site so I would suggest buddying up with someone else to save a few bucks. Post up your spot when you reserve and I will try and get a map up. And they are pet friendly.

Here is a map of the area we are in, I chose the south east corner which backs up to the forest. If you reserve you will probably want to get spaces 38,39,40 and 41 or even 37 if you want they will be the best I think.

Gomez and I will be sharing a site (2 tents + 2 jeeps) at site 28, if anybody cares to book the nearby ones. Even though the spots are 40' we have to pay an extra $5 for having an extra vehicle.

Likely excuse. You are still probably only a hundred feet or so away from us.

Food: Bring your own lunch and snacks for the trail but for dinners potlucks have worked well in the past so post up something you may want to bring. For Breakfast we can do potluck or bring your own just let me know which way you want to go. I will probably be bringing a full sized propane BBQ to the campsite.

So food? BBQ Stuff is easy but anything works let me know what you want to toss in the potluck.
