I'm thinking Pine Knot, too. Probably book it today.

If we're all staying in different areas, what would you all think about maybe doing a dinner somewhere?

EDIT: Just remembered I have a dog so dinner may be out of the question for us

I just googled it and have been there several times I just didn't know it was called Pine Knot and it is nowhere near Pine Knot. They should have called it Snow Summit camp ground.

I just called Motel 6 and they have plenty of rooms that weekend and the price is 65.99 per night.

Also if everyone is staying in different places and wants to get together for a BBQ I have a buddy with a large yard and plenty of parking that we could use.

Edit and dogs shouldn't be a problem there.

If I can bring my pooch then count us in. We'll need to get a food list going.

I'm OK with that date. I'll be camping with the camper so I don't actually need any facilities other than a fire pit to sit by and have several Captain Morgan and Root Beers.

BTW: That Saturday is Patriot Day. Wonder if there will be a bunch of Jeep Patriots up there. When is Wrangler day?

Looks like it is Pine knot camp ground which is right near Snow Summit and just up the street fron the Sherrifs department so everybody remember your flares and mudflaps. Oh and Wrangler day was in June.

If everybody is tent camping I'll leave my camper at home and bring my tent.
Is anybody else bringing a camper?

Chris, you should start a list in the first post as to the food thing.

Me, Betz, and two tax deductions.
