I saw a sign for that. Where did I see it?

Have you tried the Tilted Kilt? It's in the same place Iron Wok used to be on Ynez by the mall.

My wife and I went to DaddyO's on Saturday another burger joint. They are trying for 50's diner feel. The Burgers are huge 1/2pound 1/4 pound and 2 pound 45 minute man vs food style challenge. Burgers were better than I thought.

www.daddyosdelux.com its over off of W. Point Loma and Sports Arena

It's on Winchester and Margarita on the south side. I think it's going in the same spot that that one picture frame store was in if I'm not mistaken.

Haven't been to Tilted Kilt yet. My buddies band plays there occasionally so I'm gonna try and make it down next time he does. Unfortunately moving into the area with a kid has cut down on the eating out.

One of my favorite places before I moved was in Vista just down the street from the courthouse. It's called Via Sicilia. Great little Italian place, family owned. Wonderful decor, kinda like an Italian street, very intimate. Fresh baked bread..... DAMN, I miss it! Here it is: http://www.viasicilia.com/

Hey Sam... If you like Mexican food try Los Cabos Grill on Jefferson just north of Siggy's. Large portions, gooooood food, and fantastic margaritas, all at very reasonable prices.
I think it's the best Mexican restaurant around the area. Much better than Rodrigos by far.

I DO like Mexican food. I saw Siggy's when I went and got the bottle for the welder for your rear end a few weeks back. I'll definitely have to take the wife down, maybe with the little one too!

Actually Siggy's has a pretty damn good pastrami sandwich.
But Los Cabos is right across the street on the same side of Jefferson.
They have a full bar with many different beers on tap too.

Been there. Good food and good beer. I like that the pizza is a bit lighter than some (like Bronx), makes it easier to drink and eat

My favorite spot for food and beer though is O'Brien's on Convoy near Balboa. They have great craft brews (and sometimes some very rare stuff) and the food is bar food but kicked up. Their garlic fries are awesome, and their burgers are the best I've had in San Diego, albeit a bit different. The brie and prosciutto burger is my favorite (since they closed the Hamburger Tree in Escondido).

The best part is it's very casual, laid back. You can even bring your dog if you sit in the patio area.

Funny. That place is right near my house and I quit going there a couple of years ago or so because it was impossible to get a seat but the food was horrible then. I think the cook was dope smoking all day. Glad to know they fixed that problem.

Next door is a great asian yogurt place.
