Anyone know where I can find a front drive shaft for a 78 Waggy local?

U Joint snapped and chewed up the knuckle. Need a replacement ASAP as this is my main transportation. Have called some yards but haven't had much luck and am trying to avoid having to buy new. 1978 Wagoneer stock 360 with Quadratrack. Any info is appreciated.

Thanks,

Dion

are you looking for a yoke or the drive shaft or both?

border parts in spring valley has all the driveline stuff you should need. else, most of the junkyards have old waggy and cherokee from time to time.

try either ecology yard or pick your part, all in chula vista

This weekend is 1/2 price at Ecology, they have three yards in SD, they usually always have a FSJ sitting around, although they don't have an active inventory list

Try asking over at SCUFF, lots of full-size Jeeps there.

Or contact Bob Bengal at Bengal's Off-Road Fabrication, aka Metal Twister on SCUFF, he recently did a swap on a Waggy around the same the year iirc, he may have something sitting around or know someone who does
