Hey everybody, I'm looking for a person who would know the trails at the abandoned airport off the 15 off deer springs road? We're having some guys head out there but we need somebody willing to come with and also know where your going. we'll be heading out sunday april 18th
its a pretty cool place to wheel considering how close it is. lots of trash and dropped off stolen rigs though... what happened to the white sami that flipped??
ya the trash sucks, but you get over it. and the sami turned out find. he lost a back fender, mirror, and bent up the tub in the back but he does his own fab work, so he is still building it up even better
yea, way out on teh back side there's some areas that get reasonably flat. hell, there's some homes and what looked to be a meth lab. we turned around pretty quickly. lol
haha ya i think its near Lawerance welks. but the areas where we go you dont usually see the other houses or are even close to the houses. and yes there are some areas that are flat enough for an air strip. there is one area where one of the flat areas was made into a motocross track
yup. i know exactly where you are talking about. and if you go to the far southwest side you start to get into this 'residential' area. im really not joking when i say i think it was a meth lab....or a grow house. either way, we didnt want to find out and immedietly turned around. that and it would have been rude to go wheeling around in someones back yard. god it pissed me off when peopel did that on my property back home!
For the most part yes. Its just some washed out dirt roads. Some have just washed out to the point that you see in the pics.
