still... gears should last you a LONG time even with moderate rompage. Ive got some Dana/Spicer 4.56 gears for a rear dana 44 in great condition if they will work for you.. 50.00 I try not to know much about the JK's otherwise I'd probably end up getting one. My tj is 17 yrs old, original owner and I'm still trying to figure it out most days.

oh, I must not of read the OP... I know that with a TJ 30 your not supposed to get on it in reverse. Dont try to pull someone out in reverse. Use the winch and brakes. Are JK's the same?

I think me and some buddies will probably go to this. We spent this last weekend at superstition and it was a blast. There are some pretty cool rigs out at the hill!

Still can't say I'm real confident in the sand though. I get nervous.

Not a huge fan of the dunes. I'm always afraid that I'll get a kid on a Quad jammed in my skid plate.

Yeah I feel you there. I was out there this weekend and I forgot my trail flag. I was afraid every time I went up a hill that someone would ramp over and land on my windshield. The flag is coming for sure this time!

I'll be heading out Friday evening, have to wait for some friends to come down from OC. Do you guys have a specific location you're camping? Flag? Or maybe someone can drop me a pin when the caravan decides?

I haven't been to Superstition before.

You know, I'm going to edit my first post with GPS coordinates and a list of who's coming. If you're coming. Chime in and I'll edit the list

Jeff, do you have a picture of the camper and cold beer sign handy I can post up on first thread post?

Premo, Can you edit that a little more? People coming and if anyone wants to bring anything to go along with this bird I'm taking along. Firm things we need are Turkey (got it) Frier, oil for the frier, I'll bring a box of instant stuffing. Easiest out there to go along with turkey I think. Just a suggestion so we can get it all organized and set.
