Tjroberto and Kevin, the only reason we were headed up over Ramona was because we were gonna follow Jeff with his van pulling the jeep. Jeff's place isn't far from Kevin. if we meet at Jeff's at 1 and roll out the 8 we could do that instead. I've only been the back way once with jeff. Who all is/was planning to follow jeff - TJ, Kevin, Me, Kuruma now as a shotgunner, premo. Anyone else?

True it's not that far but if jeff is taking the back way through Ramona then it's not practical for myself or roberto. He lives off the 125 and I'm off the 8 in la mesa now. Not off the 15. I moved...I doubt jeff will be home and ready by 130

Yeah, but now who knows when jeff is leaving. Now it seems to make more sense to just head out the 8. Say leave Jeff's at 1ish, meet you and TJ at Tavern rd say 130ish, and keep heading out 8.

That's fine with me since I'm off the 8 and Spring St... We need to make a FINAL decision and stick to it... I say Tavern at 2pm.

I don't care what you guys do just as long as you promise not to crack open a beer until I get there.

Wish I was going with you guys but I got a huge case of the laziness going on. My first empty weekend in months, it will be nice to do nothing.

For those who haven't been yet and those who may become dishuffled from grouping up to get there, here are the directions per justruns.com
To get to the event take Interstate 8 East to Dunaway Road, Exit 101. Go north on Dunaway Rd. 1.5 miles to Evan Hews Hwy (Old Hwy 80) then east on Evan Hews approx. 4.3 miles to Huff Rd. Go north on Huff Rd. approx 6.5 miles to Wheeler Rd.
Go left (north west) on Wheeler Rd. approx 6.8 miles.

Jeff, if you have a preferred place to camp please post up so we can more easily meet you there. Myself and tjroberto will be at the Tavern exit off the 8 at 230 pm.. channel 23.

The normal spot is just about a 1/4 mile or so past the power line and about a 1/4 mile before the main event site, marker 5.5 (I think). Nothing special about the spot other than it's easy to say "go to the same spot as last time". The wind is usually west to east so to avoid dust it's generally better to be on the left side of wheeler road

I'll be at Jeff's at 1 to pick up Kuruma and any one else. I'll head to Tavern Rd to meet up with Kevin and leave there no later than 230.
