All seam sealers are designed to seal the areas between sheet metal joins. If you want brush able seam sealer to look neat try this. Tape off the areas parallel to the seam. Leave about 1" or 3/4" total coverage over the seam. You can buy brush able seam sealer in a can at most autobody or auto parts stores. 3M or norton is a good choice. Get about 2 golf ball size scoops out into a mixing cup. Mix in a small amount of thinner. It will create a smoother finish and make it easier to apply. Use a small acid brush to apply, then peal the tape off before it sets up 100%. If you want to go for a more $ route you can buy 3M sealer in a caulk type cartridge. You would need to invest in a 3M gun ( the smaller one is about 40.00) and then buy the two part product. It flows and lays smooth with no texture. Open the door or trunk on any new car and you will see what it looks like on the seam. Good luck!

Yeah, wish I read the answer to my question, before starting, put some on the bottom of TUB, like that tape idea creates clean lines, in-lieu of brush marks..

Inside the TUB purchased Eastwood two part and gun( haven't used), I guess similar to the 3M

thanks for the info
