It feels pretty hard. I'm not sure how bad it would be to take off but I usually blast it off, sure beats sanding it. I've dropped my keys on it and things rub up against it that I thought would scratch it but it hasn't. At my buddy's job, the painter paints with the something similar to what I used on forklift masts and it is pretty durable. Here's a larger pic

If my jeep wasn't such a virgin (hardly no dents and scratches) I would paint it flat black. I think the flat black gives it character.

Interesting, I think I may start looking into it. My hood has started this star shaped cracks in the front of the hood on top. I don't think it will be too much longer till it needs paint and I'm thinking flat or semi black is the way to go. Thanks for information!

And that bike is nice dude, just "import" chopper I've seen and it's not too shabby!

You should only need one of the Trail Rated emblems. The Antennae is on the passenger side in the location where the Trail Rated emblem "should" be placed on the passenger side...

Very nice looking bike. I have been telling the wife that I want to build ANOTHER custom bike, but have a rigid frame, all flat black painted bike with some red-spoke wheels...
