Those that have used Monstaliner on bare metal

Very specific thread, just looking to see what everyone has done for primer.

Monstaliner has a single stage Universal primer and I wondering mainly if anyone has used that in particular? Being that it's much cheaper than the 2 stage with catalyst.

Essentially, I'll be refinishing an entire roof and portions of the Jeep with the primer and Monstaliner the whole thing!

Additionally, anyone have an long-term experience with their Chassis Saver product? I've got some rust down below I'd love to address as well!

Thanks for any information, I plan on doing a full blown Pyroclastic XJ

What's your thoughts on the Universal primer while you're here?

The universal prime is a nice primer, we have been making for many years
Works on bare steel and over original paint. You can roll it with hot dog style rollers from HD or lowes and no scuffing needed to put ML on top

Stinks really bad, dries fast

Awesome! I love stinky ****!

So if I were rolling over a mix of primed bare metal and pre-existing paint, I would only need to scuff the pre-existing paint?
