I'm about to use Herculiner on my TJ and everyone i talked to said its great and it doesnt feel to hard but that all depends on how thick you put it on.
Here in Illinois as you know in Feb. it's cold as hell in my garage. I heat with a propane heater which is really nice so I can't spray as that presents a huge fire hazard, not to mention the fumes going into the house (attached garage) and overspray issues. I was looking for an acrylic polymer type coating to eliminate the fume and fire issues and I stumbled onto this product ...... I called and talked to them and ordered a gallon. Haven't put it on yet but will post thoughts on it when finished. I am a professional painter of 35 yrs. and can't say enough about the technology of acrylic polymer. It is some tough stuff to be sure. Not to mention the low VOC's. They told me the stuff is simply brushed on and looks just the same as a spray on. Again, I will report back with pics, thoughts etc.
I used herculiner in my old truck it worked alright it is a little slippery when wet
