Rived sheet metal

Does anyone know if the state of Maine allows sheet metal to be riveted to cover or replace rusted body components for the inspection?

If done well...... they should never be able to tell how its done

Take a look into a 2 part panel bond epoxy from 3M. Works good! You can basically glue the panels on (or to the back of the body) then use filler to fill in the offset.

I assume you dont have access to a welder?
