Pinstripe removal -wip

Anyone else remove old decals or stripes?

I finally found the 3M wheel I needed to effectively 'erase' my TJ's pinstripes. The local Sherwin Williams closes on weekends, so I had to wait till early Monday am to purchase it.

Looks a lot better sans the stripes. -imo- It's going to be a pain in the arm to buff out the ghosting left behind.

Please move this to paint and body. If you're on the mobile app go to general tech discussion and you'll find it there. This forum is for site/account/mobile app questions and issues only.

Thanks

No prob. The site looks different on a mobile device than it does on a PC. Take a look around and read the stickies in the top of the forums (stickies tab on mobile) and you'll know what's what.

Enjoy

Very nice job. I agree that it looks better--cleaner and updated. Were it me (and it's not) and the "Wrangler" and "4.0L" are decals, I'd take a shot at removing them also, leaving only the JEEP.

Actually, I was thinking the same. They're a little beat too. Thanks for the comment!
