Hey everyone!
So I just got a 2008 JK probably a year ago. I have currently done very little with it. It looks like it has been partly garage kept partly kept outdoors. The hinges are very rusted on the doors. I actually had to do the ratched trick to get them off. Anyway, while I was getting them off, I dinged my actual door on them. What I want to do is paint on some bedliner rusteloum around the hinges and brackets so that the "banging or dinging" wont happen again. They have started to rust and just want to keep the doors from getting REALLY bad.
It is still cold cold cold here so I have several months to prepare, but I was wondering how I would go about doing this. I just got in my stainless steel replacement hinges, when I take the old hinges off I was going to go through with all of this mess. Anyone have any pointers/suggestions?
Thanks,
Wyatt
