Opinions wanted - painting coil springs

Just picked up a used set of coils and I want to paint them before I put them on. Don't really feel like leaving them black (plus they have some chips in the original coat. I kinda want to slap some color under there.

I have an Amber Fire TJ. What color do you think I should go for?

Match the body color. That would look sick. What shocks (what color mainly) are you running?

Shocks are white. I too thought matching the body color would awesome, but I can't afford to have paint mixed up or for powder coating. I was going to rattle can them, all I can really afford.
I'll have to take a trip to some local hardware stores & see what orange options I can find in rattle cans. You think a straight up orange or even blaze orange would be too much?

Hit up the parts store for some Duplicolor, they have touch up paint available in (close) to factory colors.

Sounds like a plan. Thanks!

Once I get it done I'll post up some pics. Can't give you a time frame, extremely busy with other projects. So I might not get around to this for a month or so.

Any other opinions on different color schemes are still welcome in the process.

I know alot of people like the look of a single color and black. My XJ is Red and Black, and I dont think it would look good with any other contrasting colors. I dunno. Maybe white? All black and orange with white springs and shocks might look pretty good. Actually I think it would look pretty badass. I can imagine you would be whiping down your springs all the time to get the dirt and road grime off though.

Alright you Primitive Screwheads, listen up! You see this? This... is my boomstick! The twelve-gauge double-barreled Remington. S-Mart's top of the line. You can find this in the sporting goods department. That's right, this sweet baby was made in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Retails for about a hundred and nine, ninety five. It's got a walnut stock, cobalt blue steel, and a hair trigger. That's right. Shop smart. Shop S-Mart. You got that?

Yeah white might look pretty good, but like you said, I'd have to showroom clean the heep once a week, which we all know isn't happening.

I was thinking even maybe a blue might look good, like the blue on BDS shocks.

I should smack you for making me read this LMAO I am on page 5, will continue shortly after I write this.

I know a lot of people are thinking "Why even paint the coils?". Well, the original finish is in bad shape...doesn't look like the Jeep they came off was cleaned all that often either. So I figure I'd just sand blast them real quick and hit 'em with some paint. What's the harm in that right? It is my Jeep after all.

Although, I do think Wenied went a little too far with the whole process.

I saw an organge jeep with metallic silver bumpers and it looked awesome. I think that the springs would look good that color too.
