How to pinstripe rims?

What to spray paint a pin stripe on my rims. Using tape is hard to get a straight line. Any ideas?

Here's an idea. Jack up the vehicle with the wheel still on the vehicle. Either set up a jig to hold a pinstriping brush in place where you want the stripe, or use your hand if you think you're steady enough, and have someone spin the wheel by hand.

The only pin striping I have on my rims is from the rocks where I wheel.

I thought pin striping was done by happy trees.

I thought I had heard every thing until now.Tape off your wheels and throw a rock at a skunk. They will be unique forever. Not to metion your GF will think you have the new AXE body spray:rolleyes:Pinstriping anything went out od style in the last 70's.

Actually, lots of people pin stripe their cars. They just don't typically do it to Jeeps. I've seen a ton of hot rods and trucks with pinstriping, new and old.

The idea of jacking the vehicle up and spinning the wheel and using a cheap pinstripe brush works best..i've done it before on a set of old rims...best thing is have someone else spin the wheel while you hold the brush steady,my wife enjoyed that part....lol

if you can't hold the brush steady you could always use a mag base to hold it or
Eastwood sells a kit with a tool to stripe wheels.

You could always have someone cut you a thin ring of vinyl if you want to run a stripe around the outside of the rim.

They sell vinyl rings in rim sizes that are already round. That would be the easiest but using the brush while spinning the rim would look the best.
The Beugler won't work on this application that easy. I use that tool to do straight long runs on cars and bikes that I don't feel like doing by hand. Great tool with alot of adapters for different widths and single and dual line types but it works best on straight lines or slight curves.
