this fell off my jeep. plz help

So i was taking hard top off the jeep today because full soft doors don't work with it. While i was taking it off this piece fell off of something. Idk where but i stepped on it. Any ideas? It was on the left side of jeep if your sitting in drivers seat.

It looks like the part that goes between the top and tub where it meets the door... Above the door striker

I was thinking that but i don't think other side had it. And i tried to find a area it would fit but no luck.
