Deals on paint

He guys, just wanted to pass along some info I got from Sherwin Williams yesterday. They said they are having a spring sale right now and the Dimention line of clearcoat will be sold for $49 per gallon INCLUDING activator. That is crazy cheap, and I have used it myself with great results. I will see if I can post pics tonight (close to the 30 day mark) and give you a look at how it worked for me.

P.S. I have no affiliation to SW, just wanted to pass along this killer deal. Clear will last a while on the shelf, so if you are going to be painting soon, may be worth getting now.

Yep, Sher-Will sells some products cheap when they get short on shelf life. I bought 5 gals. of industrial grade epoxy with 5 gals. of catalyst for $10 a few yrs. back. Made a real good primer for a couple projects and gave some away for friends' projects.
I paint for a living and can tell you that us pros pay a good deal less than retail so don't be shy and ask them for a better price and you'll probably get it. Sher-Will has always done me right and they want to sell.

x2 I used to paint for a living, and SW was always the best price for material. Of course, the more you buy, the better the pricing.

I paint for a living too, but I do full restos, so I dont buy enough working alone to get much discount. These guys are great here and they deliver to me (they arent very close) The rep gave me his cell number and told me to call anytime I needed help..... night or day (but never have)

No matter what you paint, painting is a weird trade isn't ? Materials, prep, troubleshooting... every job is a bit different and most people think painting is easy.

The painting part is pretty easy..... It's the prep that kills!

Yep, I can see them, looks good!

Not exactly sure as to what I'm doing yet paint wise. I've got a set of MetalCloak Overlines and a set of full doors that both need paint. Originally I wanted to color change to the same green on the Willys Edition TJs, then thought it would be too expensive with having to get clear coat and the paint, but if I can get this deal from a SW near me, I might end up leaning that way again. Thanks a lot!
