Well, I decided I'm going to go ahead and paint my cladding on my WJ. Instead of using black, I'm gonna be using a Brown (Krylon Fusion, Espresso, Satin). I've got everything that I need to paint it, but I'm really questioning the clear coat that I chose. I went ahead and got some cans of Krylon Crystal Clear, on the can it says it's best for wood, metal, wicker, glass, ceramic, masonry, and paper. I wanted to go with Krylon Fusion Clear Satin, but Autozone, Oreilly's, and Home Depot didn't have any of that. Also, the clear coat that I bought (Krylon Crystal Clear) is gloss, which I've read that many people have had a lot of trouble using gloss.
Anyways, my question is: Should I go ahead and use the Krylon Crystal Clear, or what? Are there any other suggestions as what to do clear coat wise?
I'm going to check Walmart for some Krylon Fusion Clear, but I doubt they will have any, we'll see.
Thanks for the help.
