yes por-15 its the best just get the flakie rust off with a wire brush then i use some prep all or dx330 to clean the area from dirt, grease and oil, then brush the por right on. por is like powder coat in a can!!!!!
I had the same problem with my yj, i used a die grinder with stone grinding tools, and more useful was an air chisel. With the air chisel you can get the pointy chisel and knock the rust off of the frame etc. I got my air chisel for 20 bucks at oreilly auto
Ya, that is true, i found that most of the flaky rust broke off when i hit it. Most of the metal parts i have found so far were manafactured thick enough that the chisel doesnt go through, some pieces were rusted enough the chisel punched through them. These parts i didnt hesitate to replace
Hey guys any suggestions on what I can do I am looking to do somting to my jeep all underneath my jeep is all rusty what can I do
wire brush, and some rust eliminator spray, it brings rust to a paintable stage.
I use it alot, like $6.00 a can. or if you feel frisky and have some extra cash, lift it up on all 4's rent a sand blaster and use baking soda, or almonds to do the blasting. and then use the rust equaliser spray.
