I bought a 1980 CJ7 that was in pretty bad shape but had a Ford 360 Big Block under the hood. Has a 3 inch lift with new BFG's 33x12.50 R15. Paid $1,400 so figured what the hell. On the way home from buying it I stopped and purchased a battery, arrived home plugged it up and fired it right up.. I was smiling.. So far I have got the engine running great, transmission is smooth. I bought a new hood, fenders and windshield. The inside was in good condition, looked like top was rarely off. Its at painted now. The painter has blasted the chassis and under body and is going to paint flat black, I can't decide what color I want for the body. I am pretty set on a flat finish..

Its a jeep, it all about fun, pick a "fun" color. Well except lime green maybe.
