Best stuff around for your manual transmission TJ.

Jeep (Chrysler) says you don't have to service your NV3550 manual transmission ever, but those of us who know better know better.

Red Line MTL smooths out the annoying hard 1-2 and 2-3 shift, especially in colder weather. It also quieted down the higher-rev 1st gear rattle in my TJ, but that was probably due to the prior owner having never serviced the tranny in 100k miles.

Good stuff - check out the reviews and experiences of others on the forum posts (that where I found out to do it). You'll make your Jeep Happy (and you too on those cold mornings).

Comments: Best oil I ever used/seen. I will NOT go to any other oil. Only will use Amsoil MTG, ONLY OF NO ACCESS TO REDLINE MT-90 GL-4.

Pros: Improved shifts in cold weather
Cons: Having to order it through Amazon

Comments: Smooths out the dreaded cold-weather 2-3 shift and prevents excessive wear in the transmission. Jeep FSM says the tranny is "serviced for life" but after changing the fluid at 100K miles, it made a world of difference.
