Price: $2,500.00
Pros: Ratios, strength, size
Cons: cost
Recommended? Yes

Comments: Going from 3 gears to 5 was amazing in itself. But the 1st gear on this is low so it added to my 4:1 TC even more. The OD makes highway driving a much quieter and calmer event now compared to the screaming engine at 60 MPH before. One of the three best upgrades I have ever made to a Jeep.

Pros: Stronger than AX-5/15. Shifts smoothly. Overall very happy with it.
Cons: Transmission fluid is expensive. 18.00 a Quart is kinda out of control.

Comments: Overall performance is excellent. The Transmission shifts smoothley and is more than able to handle the power of my 5.7L Vortec.

Pros: Bullet proof in my book
Cons: none
Recommended? Yes

Comments: I had this installed, after my tranny died. I purchased the kit via Advanced Adapters, back in 2003. It arrived quickly, and had I more time I would have installed it myself.
Quote from transmission guy who installed it. "Wow, that was really easy. I can't believe how complete that kit was, it came with EVERYTHING!.
Minor tub cutting around the shifter, and it was in with no problem.

Price: $1,500.00
Pros: Better than the AX-15, external slave cylinder, supposed to be a little stronger
Cons: Not factorty, so It take's a little modding to get it to fit just right.
Recommended? Yes

Comments: I needed a new transmission, and this one was the same price as an AX-15 from advanced adapters, plus the price of the the adapter brought the final price to around 1900. So I had to decide on whether to upgrade, or stay with the AX-15. I decided on the AX-15, but when I went to order it, I was told they were on backorder and I was looking at about a 1 month wait, but I wanted to get my Jeep back on the road ASAP. After about a week I finally had my new transmission, and thanks to the adapters, there was little work involved besides mounting some brackets for the transfer case linkage, and cutting a little 1"x1" notch in the floor board to accommodate the t-case linkage, which wouldn't have been necessary if I had a body lift or a transfer case drop
