Price: $149.00 Pros: Easy install, quicker, shorter shifts Cons: none so far Recommended? Yes
Comments: Seems like you have to reach so far with a stock shifter. I switched to a NV3550 and figured might as well do it right.

Price: $200.00 Pros: Great feel, good quality Cons: Depending on what knob you put on top, you may hit your hand on the dash when shifting forward. Recommended? Yes
Comments: Fit great and works way better than factory. Depending on what lift you have it may come close to the tub when shifting towards the dash.

Price: $189.00 Pros: Smooth shifting, 30% less throw, very easy to install Cons: None yet Recommended? Yes
Comments: This was recommended to me by the mechanic who repaired my transmission. Was having a problem with my hand hitting the bezel everytime I went to shift into 1st or 3rd. WOW, what a difference. The gears enage with ease, no grinding, no popping out of gear, great all around upgrade. Highly recommended.

Price: $150.00 Pros: Quality product.
Nice solid, direct shifts. Cons: None, really. Recommended? Yes
Comments: When I swapped an AX15 behind my 2.5L, the trans didn't come with a shifter.
Used shifters were going for $100-150, which is totally nuts.
The dealership wanted something like $300 for a factory NIB.
I got the B&M on sale for around $150.
I don't power shift, and actually drive like an old man, but it's very nice to shift with. When I drive my buddies YJ (same year/motor/AX5) I feel like I'm "guessing" at which gear i'm stuffing the shifter into. Factory is VERY sloppy.
If you need a new shifter, this is what I recommend!
