Comments: hawk hps brake pads with centium rotors and stock calipers.
if you break them in properly, they are as good as any brake pad, including BM.
breaking them in properly is SOOOOOOOO important after installing new pads.

Comments: Hawk pads are 100% total garbage. Their preformance is as good or below OEM pads - Failed on my Jeep in less than 200 miles, professionally installed. Because these pads dont wear as fast as conventional pads they caused massive heat build up during braking, because they never cool down they start to drag on the rotor while you drive - like riding the brake and the gas at the same time. I had the drivers side pad lock up the front caliper at highway speed and almost force me into oncoming traffic. These pads cost me 2 heat damaged calipers, and new pads + labor = $300 dollars of total BULL$hit.

I would like to ram these pads up the *** of a Hawk representitive.

Please PM me if you have any questions so I can talk some sense into you before you make a huge mistake!

Price: $90.00
Pros: Awesome stopping
Cons: none
Recommended? Yes

Comments: Before I put these in I had the brakes that the previous owner put on and they needed to be changed so I went with Hawk since I always use to use them on my Audi and they are just as good with the TJ, stop great and never make me feel like I'm going to slide.

Price: $90.00
Pros: Low dust, long life
Cons: Noisy
Recommended? No

Comments: For the price, I would invest in different pads. Although they do have low dust and longer life, they were very noisy with the recommended Power Slot rotors.
