Price: $74.99 Pros: Looks good, kevlar reinforcement should limit damage from crap thrown up off of the road into the underside. Easy to install to existing hard lines. Cons: retention clamps were a pain in the butt to install -- after a little dremmel action though they slid right into place. Recommended? Yes
Comments: Got the brake line kit from Quadratec. Easy install, although took me about 3 hours by the time I wrangled out the old soft lines and finally got the clip-retainer brackets to work. The rear line was a little on the long side (0" lift on my TJ), but works out fine with the slack heading up before coming back down to the axel.
No leaks, everything worked first-time through after bleeding the system thoroughly. Looks good (no doubt which one the brake line is now), and should be a bit more impervious to crap thrown up from the road during winter and rocky conditions.
A little on the pricey side, but definitely recommend if you want some good brake lines to replace aging soft-lines.
