RCV Performance - RCV Front JK D44 kit
Product Information
Super easy install. ~ 3 hours, with beers. I guess there was a problem of them shipping without axle nuts, but I got all my peices. Axles are the same diameter as stock, so there was no problem with my inner sleeves.
Took them out and beat them up the next day. Good tight turning radius with my front end locked. Did some "enthusiastic" hill climbs with just the front end locked, to see what would happen, and wasn't disappointed when nothing did.
What else can you say about a lifetime warranty?

Comments: I have the TJ version. These shafts are great. Easy install. Steering is smoother and these shafts seem almost indestructible.

Price: $1,000.00 Pros: No binding when turning,
warranty Cons: use their grease Recommended? Yes
Comments: They haven't been in the jeep for any offroad trips yet but just trying them out at a few local spots you can tell they are much smoother than ujoints. Installed with gears but can feel difference compared to stock.

Price: $1,100.00 Pros: Smoother turning, no binding (and breaking) less force on the drive-train when it binds, more reliable, stronger. Cons: They are pretty expensive but they have a lifetime warranty. Recommended? Yes
Comments: I love the way the Jeep drives now in 4X4 much smoother and I don't have to worry about breaking my U-Joint anymore. The install was easy and they came with unit-bearing bolts. Tip: use a towel to PCV pipe to guide the long side in to the shaft/spline. Be careful not to damage the axle seal. If you want outer tube seals they are sold separately. The Jeep does not have them from factory.

Price: $1,000.00 Pros: You break it, RCV replaces it. Good deal! Cons: None so far. Recommended? Yes
Comments: I got these for my TJ D44 front axle build. Fun and easy to install. Great warranty. Pretty unique. Not very many people are running them. They sent me two free t-shirts. They are expensive, but if they are as strong and last as long as RCV claims, well worth it.
