Pros: Great solid seal
Cons: Driver side zerk grease fitting didn't fit
Recommended? Yes

Comments: These were easy to install and a huge upgrade from the factory plastic seals. They installed easy, but I had a slight problem on the drivers side. The grease fitting is totally butted up against the axle housing once the seal is all the way set, making it impossible to get a grease gun on it. I did not have this problem on the passenger side, and both seals are fully installed and flush. I had to remove the zerk fitting and install a longer fitting so the gun could get grease in there. Aside from that little problem these seals are great.

Alloy USA Aluminum Axle Seals

Comments: I do a fair amount of soft mud, and 3-4ft water crossings. I decided when I replaced my axles it was a good idea to try a set of these. I was initally happy with the product. The seal on the driver side tore, and failed after about 2k miles, and the passenger side seal tore, and failed after about 2500mi. I did make sure to keep them greased, and sand & mud cleaned off of them, but still had a failure. I had purchased the set from Northridge 4x4, and called them to get a warranty. The seal sets were on backorder! I was put intouch with a rep. at Alloy USA. I was assured that the failure was a fluke, and that I would be shipped a new set directly from the factory after the backorder was lifted, or possibly before! Here we are 2yrs later and numerous emails later. NO replacements! I finally gave up, and just accepted the loss, and a lesson!
If you buy these, and never have a problem-good for you. If you ever have a failure of this product-good luck!!!
