Price: $1.00 Pros: good street manners Cons: very unpredictable in the mud or snow. Recommended? No
Comments: well i bought a set of axles used and my lock right came with them it was already installed in the D30 so i took it out to test it (it was winter). I couldnt even notice it on the drive to the local trail but as soon as i put it into 4wd and started moving on the snow it wouldnt stay locked and would randomly lock and pull you to one side or not alow you to turn... i thought it might be the pins and springs so i ordered a new set but nope it still slips and randomly locks up in snow and mud but on the dirt/rocky trails it does OK it still slips occasionally...
if you dont mind the sound of the gears slipping and clashing back together then i would go for it but if you dont like that sound and wheel alot in mud or snow then i would get something else..

Price: $400.00 Pros: Easy to install with some mechanical knowledge. I have No-Slips in front and rear axle and they work excellent. Cons: You must be careful when installing to make sure you have parts lined up correctly. Recommended? Yes
Comments: I have had the Powertrax No-Slip lockers installed for over 5 years now and have had no breakage of parts due to use on trails or regular daily driving; however, when reinstalling the no-slip I made an error in the alignment of the parts in my rear axle and broke a part of the no-slip. I order replacement part and had it fixed quickly.
On the trails it works flawlessly and really improves traction, since all 4 wheels are driving not just 2; as with open differentials.
I highly recommend this product for daily drivers who want added traction.
