Price: $250.00
Pros: Easy install, great performance offroad.
Cons: Its an auto locker, turning is limited when in 4wd
Recommended? Yes

Comments: Istalled in my D30 front axle. This locker is great, it is cheap and easy to install. However, it is an auto locker so it cannot be turned off while in 4wd, which limits the turning radius. The locker does click while turning in 2wd, but it is not that bad.

Price: $180.00
Pros: simple, much like a power trax but less the price.
Cons: had to grind the carrier to fit the locker in.
Recommended? Yes

Comments: i bought it used, the first owner was not happy with it, he went though 2 or 3 power steering pumps, and blew the p/s cap off a few times while trail riding with him. he has it less then 4,000 miles, and 4 trail rides.... i hope to have better luck with it, then he did but with 37's i'll be pushing it

Price: $200.00
Pros: Works great, very strong
Cons: its a 2 peice axle eater
Recommended? Yes

Comments: I bought this used, and upon looking at it, looked like it had never been used (except for the smell of gear oil). Works good, gives me more traction in the rear just like I wanted. I just have to get one for the front now (and no, I don't mind the clicking sound). It ate my 2 peice axles like the boys at Jeepforum said it would. So it was no suprise. IMHO This thing makes the detroit locker look like a bologna sandwhich durability wise. I was told to go used aussie over new detroit and I'm really glad I did.

Pros: Quiet and works
Cons: not selectable

Comments: First locker in the jeep. Well worth the 240$ spent.

Wouldn't use anything else in the front of a stock jeep axle.

Price: $240.00
Pros: Once figuring out the instructions it was realy easy to install.
Cons: The instructions were a little unorganized in my opinion. It has every option on installing it but it was difficult to figure out what i needed to do and what didn't apply.
Recommended? Yes

Comments: Installed mine yesterday. Once I read how to install the pins properly it was a breeze. I took it out on some hills not far from my housr and it worked AWESOME. I head NO clicking at all when turning sharp. the only thing that I noticed about it is once you put it into 4WD and it lockes up, you have to put it into reverse to get it to unlock. Other than that it worked great

Price: $300.00
Pros: invisible in 2wd. Cost effective, easy installation and true off-road performance increase
Cons: Snow, and on road 4x4 situations are slightly more hair raising.
Recommended? Yes

Comments: Works really well on the trail, and only a mild click click click in tight turns on road, barely noticeable. Super easy to install, recommended for anyone looking to add cost effective off road capability to their rig.

Price: $250.00
Pros: Easy install, simple operation.
Cons: None noted.
Recommended? Yes

Comments: The Aussie Locker significantly improved my offroad traction. With my open carriers, I had to get a run at many obstacles, leading to other control issues - over running an obstacle, banging. Now, I just apply a bit of throttle and let it find grip and pull me over. If I can't get grip, I back up adjust my line and try again - all very calmly.

Also, post trip clean up seemed better. With sloppy conditions, the necessary wheel spin really put a bunch of mud in the wheel wells. With better traction, less furious wheel spin was required, so less mud to clean off.

Comments: I can't believe that I didn't get this when I first bought my Jeep. I truly feel it should be optional equipment that you can have installed at the time of purchase. Your friends will want this.

Price: $250.00
Pros: Amazing offroad traction
Cons: clicking when going around turns.
Recommended? Yes

Comments: The addition of an aussie locker is the best upgrade that I have done to my jeep to date. It wasn't that hard to install and I've never messed with a diff before. As long as you take your time with the install and read the instuctions carefully, there's really nothing to worry about. The traction offroad is incredible, it's soo much better than an open diff. I have no problem with opsticles and hill climbs that I used to find extremely difficult before.

Pros: increased traction!
Cons: jerking when turning on the road
Recommended? Yes

Comments: I got this locker for a steal on for only 200. I installed this locker in my HP30 and have noticed a huge increase in traction, and most of all no more slipping! Its not very noisy either compared to a Detroit locker. Only down side is its very hard to drive in 4wheel drive on the road.
