Great product. Super easy to install. My only gripe with it is that the foam they provide isn't quite thick enough...I had some trunk rattling after install. I solved this problem by adding some extra foam padding.

Works well, but not "weatherproof" as advertised by Bestop website. The weather strip that came with it is being destroyed by my tailgate.

Solid and dependable, not only easy to install, but easy to remove and replace when space is needed. Most non-jeepers don't even know there's a compartment under the instatrunk lid, so what's to beak into? Good product.

nice product, i use threaded rivets to install it, it makes getting it out alot easier since the bolts have flat heads that can be taken out with my fingers

I installed the Instratrunk XL because I wanted a safe place to store my stuff in summer when the top is off, and the simple duster just didn't cut it. I leave it in when I put the hard top on in winter because I can put heavy stuff down below and soft stuff like jackets and duffles on top, makes it easier to get at everything. Who needs a back seat?

good security for rear space. fits snug against rear seats, or alone. Not LOTS of space, but enough to put tools, windows, etc.

Great piece of mind, covers the 10"woofer with only minor mods. Dropped in perfectly, would definitely recommend to anyone who does want some trunk security.

The instatrunk is a great upgrade for those who live with their tops off. I needed a secure location to keep my valuables and this does the job. The quality and fit is excellent. I would have liked to have screw with a large head so as to install and remove the unit more easily.

Perfect Fit, Looks Good. Hides items stored in the back. Can latch the top closed and lock the tailgate so no one can open the lid.

Like the product but you have to open up the wheel wells and cram your hands to bolt it in. But gives good safe storage with the top off.

Well Made and easy to install. I like to use it if I have the top down for a little added security.

Just recently installed. Seems like an excellent way to have a few things "locked up and out of sight" without having to drill holes or remove any other factory features.

I liked the way this added some lockable storage. It was pretty easy to install, but would be better for a TJ (although it says that it also works on an LJ, it wasn't a perfect fit). It's pretty sturdy and doubles as a shelf when I'm working on the Jeep. With the top off, it isn't perfectly waterproof, but I added some extra weather guarding to fix that.
